Study on size control of TiO2 nanoparticles synthesized using solution plasma process

Abstract: The research was conducted to study the size control of TiO2 nanoparticles synthesised. The TiO2 nanoparticles was formed using the solution plasma process. This method is an electrolysis of water-based experiment. When compared to other methods, the solution plasma method offers both a shorter synthesis time as well as a simple setup. Researches conducted on nanomaterials have proven that these materials tend to have varying properties when compared to bulk metals. With this, being able to vary the sizes of t… Show more

“…This behavior is attributed to the way the discharge erodes the electrodes, as discharges are weaker (the glow is said to be not "full") in NaOH beyond 0.5M. Yii et al [123] also observed with TiO2 nanoparticles that their mean size increases when the concentration of K2CO3 increases from 0.1 to 1M.…”
