Study on Seismic Coefficient Calculation Method of Slope Seismic Stability Analysis

Abstract: In this paper, a pseudostatic seismic coefficient evaluation method for slope dynamic stability analysis was explored with Yushu Airport Road 3# landslide as a typical engineering case, and the shaking table test and numerical calculation were performed during the exploration. The loading waveform was selected as Yushu wave, and the acceleration time-history of seismic waves was measured and analyzed, revealing the failure mode of slopes. Based on the rigid-body limit equilibrium theory, the instantaneous addi… Show more

“…Surprisingly, not every study on physical modelling has adopted similitude laws. For example, Linfang et al [96] proposed a novel method for estimating slope seismic stability analysis using the Yushu Airport Road 3# landslide as a case study. Similarly, Murao et al [97] used shaking table tests to examine the progressive failure of unsaturated slopes in investigating the influence of seepage surface conditions on the fill slope.…”

“…Due to the randomness and occasionality of earthquake, a seismic acceleration record corresponding to the specified earthquake type, site type and earthquake intensity is artificially produced as ground motion input (Tao et al, 2017;Pai et al, 2021). Artificial earthquake is required to meet a given target response spectrum, that is, there is a basic control condition for the synthesis of artificial earthquake, and the simulation results are required to be in good agreement with the target response spectrum, as shown in Figure 4(a) (Zhang et al, 2016a;Gao and Feng, 2022).…”
