Abstract:Based on Boltzmann function and the generalized Ohm's law, the influence of charging on dielectric constant and electric conductivity are analyzed. Formulas of the dielectric constant and electric conductivity of dust plasma, which are applied to high frequency electromagnetic (EM) wave, are obtained.
