Study on Inverting Soil Moisture Content Based on the Field Bidirectional Reflectance Information with the Reflection Model

Abstract: In order to invert the soil moisture content and analyze the influence of soil moisture content on the bidirectional reflectance, the parameters of bidirectional reflectance model are obtained based on the multi-angle hyper spectral data in the field, and the soil moisture content using the calculated values is inverted. The relationship between model parameters in three wavelengths and different directions and moisture content is analized, the differences of inverting soil moisture content results based on mo… Show more

“…Zhao Yunsheng et al [2] [3] used multi-angle polarization measuring device to measure soil, vegetation and other ground objects, and studied the polarization reflectance characteristics of various objects and related applications. Lv Yunfeng et al [4] used bidirectional reflection model to retrieve soil water content. In the above studies, the backscattering component of the target is ignored, and the model cannot describe the generation process of volume scattering well.…”
