Study on insulation and stresses of TBCs on a turbine vane under ununiform temperature field

Abstract: Abstract. The paper focuses on insulation and stress of TBCs on a multilayer-coated blade considering ununiform temperature field. First the ununiform temperature field of TBCs was conducted by thermal-flow couple method. Then the thermal cycle residual stresses were modeled by holding the uniform temperature in the dwell step.
