Study on influence of modifiers on structural and spectroscopic properties of Nd3+ doped different lithium tetra borate glasses

Abstract: Different multi-component (Li, Na, Ca, Ba, LiNa, BaCa) borate glasses doped with 1 mol% of Nd3+ ions were prepared by the melt-quenching method. The structural information was carried out by PXRD, FTIR and 11B MAS-NMR characterizations. Based on Thermogravimetry (TG) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), thermal stability has been taken care for the glass samples which are mentioned at present work.
