Study on Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli Producing Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamase (ESBL) from Chicken Meat and its Products

Abstract: This study aimed to identify the prevalence of enterotoxigenic E. coli producing ESBL in some chicken meat and chicken meat products. A total of 300 samples, including 120 chicken meat samples, 180 nuggets, frankfurter and luncheon (60 each) were taken from different supermarkets of different sanitation levels. These samples were subjected to bacteriological examination.
