Abstract:To study the coupling mechanism and dynamic responses of an end-face-movable gear transmission system under complex excitation, a specific configuration of end-meshing, movable-gear reduction mechanism was used to achieve predetermined rigid-thrust-transmission and mismatched-gear-meshing functions, which solved the inherent defects of traditional harmonic gear mechanisms of thin-wall-flexible wheels that are easily damaged by fatigue.
