Mushroom are cosmopolitan organisms which can emerge in a variety of environment, and around the university building is no exception.The goal of this study was to collect information on macrofungi diversity around IPB Unversity Campus Building in order to be used as a reference for its potential in the future. Macrofungi collection was done by opportunistic sampling method. All mushrooms found were Basidiomycota, which dominated by order of Agaricales. A total of 13 mushrooms were identified and described in this study, namely: Armillariella sp., Marasmiellus sp., Mycena sp., Agrocybe sp., Polyporus sp., Entoloma sp., Xeromphalina sp., Paxillus sp., Lentinus sp. 1, Lentinus sp. 2, Collybia sp., Pluteus sp., and Parasola sp. Some macroscopic fungi found to be potentially used as a bioactive compound sources, medicine and also played an important role as a decomposer in the sampling site.AbstrakJamur makroskopis merupakan organisme kosmopolitan yang mampu tumbuh pada berbagai macam kondisi lingkungan, tidak terkecuali di sekitar bangunan universitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menyediakan informasi mengenai keragaman jamur makroskopis di sekitar kampus Institut Pertanian Bogor untuk pemanfaatannya di masa mendatang. Eksplorasi jamur dilakukan dengan metode pengambilan sampel oportunistik. Semua jamur yang ditemukan merupakan filum Basidiomycota dan didominasi oleh ordo Agaricales. Sebanyak 13 jenis jamur makro berhasil diidentifikasi dan dideskripsikan pada penelitian ini, yaitu: Armillariella sp., Marasmiellus sp., Mycena sp., Agrocybe sp., Polyporus sp., Entoloma sp., Xeromphalina sp., Paxillus sp., Lentinus sp. 1, Lentinus sp. 2, Collybia sp., Pluteus sp., dan Parasola sp. Beberapa Jamur diketahui berpotensi sebagai sumber bahan bioaktif, obat-obatan, dan dekomposer penting pada ekosistem.Kata Kunci: Gedung kampus, Jamur, Ragam, Potensi, IPB

To date, allelopathic activity of mushroom has not been reported in Indonesia. The aim of this study was to examine the allelopathic activity of wild mushroom extract through bioassay germination on Vigna radiata L. seed. A total of 13 wild mushrooms namely : Amanita sp.1, Armillaria sp.1, Armillaria sp.2, Auricularia sp., Clitocybe sp., Crepidotus sp., Fomitopsis sp., Ganoderma sp., Lepiota sp.1, Microporus sp., Panaeolus sp., Polyporus sp., and Rigidoporus sp. used for the material extraction.The extraction of 13 wild mushrooms was done using pure water. Pure extract (25%, 50%, and 75%) was applied by using sprayer directly on the seed for 7 days. The parameters observed including percentage of seeds germinating, length of radicles, and length of plumules. The highest germination rates as well as length of plumules and radicles were obtained in the negative control using distilled water, whilst Imperata cylindrica extract which used as positive control showed opposite result. Mushroom extract showed variation in the parameter observation. Rigidoporus sp., Daedalea sp.1, and Microporus sp. 2 seem to have the best activity of allelopathic effects, while Auricularia sp. consistently induced the highest effect of seed development. Overall, in line with few previously reports, this results can broadening the information of utilization of allelochemical properties of wild mushroom.

: Mushroom are functional food which has been consumed for long time due to the various benefits and are rich in nutrients for health. Even though it is not the main food ingredient, local people in Indonesia are accustomed to consuming wild mushroom in the vicinity. One of these mushroom is Scleroderma spp. which grows as ectomycorrhizal mycobiont usually around the Gnetum gnemon L. plant. This study aimed to provide the information regarding poisioning case of Scleroderma in Indonesia and also it’s potential utilization. This paper is a literature-based quantitative research. Several previous studies have confirmed the benefits of this mushroom such as antioxidant, antibacteria, and anti-inflammatory which is beneficial for health. However, the result showed that during the last 10 years, there have been 6 cases of poisoning due to consumption of Scleroderma in Indonesia. A total of 54 people have become victims and 4 of them have died. Scleroderma spp. known to be easily found in various places throughout Indonesia. This mushroom is generally recommended to be consumed only in the young fruiting body phase. Some cases of poisoning are thought to be due to the sclerocitrin content in the fruiting body of this mushroom.Abstrak : Jamur merupakan salah satu bahan pangan yang telah sejak lama dikonsumsi karena memiliki berbagai manfaat dan kaya akan kandungan bahan bioaktif untuk kesehatan. Walaupun belum menjadi bahan pangan utama, masyarakat lokal di Indonesia telah terbiasa untuk mengkonsumsi jamur liar yang ada di sekitarnya. Salah satu dari jamur tersebut adalah Scleroderma spp. yang tumbuh sebagai mikobion pembentuk ektomikoriza umumnya di sekitaran tanaman melinjo (Gnetum gnemon L.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan informasi mengenai kasus keracunan Scleroderma di Indonesia serta potensi pemanfaatannya. Tulisan ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif berbasis literatur. Meskipun beberapa penelitian sebelumnya telah mengkonfirmasi manfaat dari jamur ini seperti: antioksidan, antibakteri, dan antiinflamasi yang bermanfaat untuk kesehatan. Selama 10 tahun terakhir, telah terjadi 6 kasus keracunan akibat pengkonsumsian jamur liar Scleroderma di Indonesia. Sebanyak 54 orang telah menjadi korban dan 4 diantaranya meninggal dunia. Scleroderma spp. diketahui mudah ditemukan di berbagai tempat di seluruh Indonesia. Jamur ini umumnya disarankan hanya dikonsumsi pada fase tubuh buah yang masih muda. Beberapa kasus keracunan diduga juga karena kandungan sclerocitrin yang terdapat pada tubuh buah dari jamur ini.
