“…Their results are very helpful in studying the performance of different storage materials coupled in different arrangements. Huang et al [5] investigate the discharging characteristics of solid heat storage magnesia bricks by simulation and experiment and they recommend to use 6-channel heat storage bricks and the wind velocity shall not exceed 12 m/s. Most of the researches [6][7][8][9][10] have focused on the material selection, system design and economic analysis, however, rare literatures discuss its dynamic characteristic of steam-type high temperature solid heat storage system.…”
The steam-type high-temperature solid thermal storage system is a kind of thermal storage and steam supply system, which can store surplus power in the heat storage regenerator and use it to produce steam when needed. A dynamic model for the steam-type high temperature solid thermal storage system is proposed using Matlab/Simulink. The dynamic characteristics of the above system are analyzed under the conditions that the inlet air volume and outlet air temperature are kept constant. And the response curves of the main parameters of the system, such as the load of users and outlet air temperature, with the change of operation time are obtained, which reveal the dynamic characteristics of the steam-type high temperature solid thermal storage system.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
