Study of Wind Induced Vibration of Transmission Power Tower-Line System

Abstract: This paper reviews the study of wind induced vibration of transmission power tower-line system. Each fields of research of transmission power tower-line system —analysis model, dynamic characteristic, wind response and vibration control —are systematically introduced. the problem that exist in this stage and the development trend are summarized in the conclusions.

“…To accurately identify the vibration parameters of long-span transmission towers, many scholars have carried out relevant tests and studies through actual measurement [1][2][3][4][5]. Zhang Jiayi et al analyzed the dynamic characteristics and wind-induced response and evaluated the wind-resistant performance of typical angle steel transmission towers on the newly built 220kV dual-circuit line in the coastal area of Fuding, Fujian Province.…”
