Study of ultra‐wideband fuze signal processing method based on wavelet transform

Abstract: In order to reduce data volume of carrier-free ultra-wideband (UWB) fuze's signal processing and improve fuze's instantaneity, a signal processing method for carrier-free UWB fuze based on wavelet transform is proposed in this study. Under least mean square error criterion, decompose the transmitted pulse and echo signal by wavelet transform firstly, then estimate the target's distance and velocity information on high level of wavelet decomposition, finally, generate detonator signal to drive the executive lev… Show more

“…The Wide-Band or Ultra-Wide Band applications such as the multimedia services based generally on wireless sensors systems [1]- [5]. Several techniques are proposed in literature especially for digital communication based on two systems: narrow-band and multi-carrier [6]- [8]. This last are developing different technique in transmitter and receiver like Modulation, MAC protocol, Equalization, Filtering, Fading, Multi-path, and Non-Line-Of-Sight (NLOS) [7] [9].…”

“…Developing a new ratio fuze is an important way to improve the anti-jamming performance of the fuze. With the rapid development of industrial electronics technology, lots of new fuzes are designed constantly [7][8][9]. Pseudo-random frequency hopping (PRFH) fuze [7,[10][11][12][13][14][15], is a product which applies pseudo random theory [16][17][18] and frequency hopping communication technology into the radio fuze.…”
