Study of the structure and morphology of carbon sorbents

Abstract: The paper presents the results of a study of the morphology of carbon sorbents from Kuzbass coal. Carbon sorbents were obtained by chemical activation of the initial coal with potassium hydroxide at a temperature of 800 °C and a KOH/coal ratio of 1 g/g. It was shown that alkaline activation has no significant effect on the ash content of the obtained carbon sorbents.
