Study of the parameters of the pure iron structure after surface plastic deformation treatment with a complex-profile tool

Abstract: The structure of pure iron after surface plastic deformation (SPD) by a multiradius roller (MR-roller) was studied using optical microscopy (OM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). An optical microscope of reflected light is used to study the size and uniformity of grains and subgrains (Neophot-21).
