Abstract:Resistance to hemolysis of erythrocytes in lysing isotonic water solution of ammonium chloride becomes apparent in the dynamics of the change of their optical properties. Optical properties of erythrocytes were registered on light scattering from single cells with a scanning flow cytometer. It was shown experimentally during hemolysis the dynamics of the change of the integral intensity of light scattering of erythrocytes is different for irradiated and non-irradiated human blood. Qualitatively, the effect is … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
