Abstract:The characteristic behaviors of the sheath in a collisional dusty plasma composed of nonthermal electrons, ions, neutral atoms, and negatively charged dusts are investigated. To suit the realistic environment, the ionization effect is considered. The result reveals that the peculiarities of the sheath relied on ionization frequency σ, non-thermality parameter b, and dust grains concentration μ. At the sheath edge, the requirement of ion-entering-sheath-velocity enhances with increased b and μ, conversely, redu… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
