Study of polytropes with generalized polytropic equation of state

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to discuss the theory of Newtonian and relativistic polytropes with a generalized polytropic equation of state. For this purpose, we formulated the general framework to discuss the physical properties of polytropes with an anisotropic inner fluid distribution under conformally flat condition in the presence of charge. We investigate the stability of these polytropes in the vicinity of a generalized polytropic equation through the Tolman mass. It is concluded that one of the derived mod… Show more

“…1) for a cylinder of unit radius. We have taken these values from our previous work on the polytropes [31]. We have plotted m L against the dimensionless radii ξ and found that its graph remains bounded in the radial direction even for very high values of the charge Q = 0.2 M , 0.4 M , 0.6 M , and 0.64 M .…”

“…The theory of polytropes in GR has its own importance in the modeling of relativistic CO. Azam et al [19][20][21][22] presented a brief study of Newtonian and relativistic polytropes with GPEoS. The GPEoS is a combination of linear and polytropic EoS i.e.,…”

“…Sharif [30] developed a general frame work for anisotropic cylindrical polytropes. Azam et al [31,32] initially presented the theory of generalized polytropic equation of state (GPEoS) for spherically and cylindrical symmetry in the frame work of general relativity. Herrera et al [33] tested the stability of polytropes by perturbing model parameters.…”
