Abstract:PACS 78.66.Hf, Pyramidal microcavities coupled to distributed feedback reflectors (DBRs) substantially modified the DBR stop-bands and the physical origin was theoretically studied. This was attributed to the change of the DBR surface reflection phases with the formation of the pyramidal structures.
