Relationship between serum high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome (PIH) was investigated. One hundred and twenty patients with PIH treated in the First People's Hospital of Chengdu (60 cases of mild preeclampsia, 60 cases of severe preeclampsia) were enrolled in the study. The control group included 60 women with normal singleton pregnancy. Serum hs-CRP and microalbuminuria (mALB) levels were measured by an AU5800 automatic biochemical analyzer (Beckerman Coulter), and the risk factors were analyzed by ROC curve analysis. Patients with PIH had higher levels of serum hs-CRP and mALB than the control group (P<0.01). Serum hs-CRP and mALB levels in the severe preeclampsia group were significantly higher than those in the mild preeclampsia group (P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that hs-CRP was a factor of high-risk. Area under the curve was 0.943, and the 95% confidence interval was 0.848–0.974. Detection of serum hs-CRP in patients with PIH can provide references for the prediction of the severity of the disease, and higher level of hs-CRP indicates worse condition.

Introduction: Hypothyroidism affects 2–4% of women in their reproductive years. Anovulatory cycles, luteal phase defects, hyperprolactinemia, and sex hormone imbalances are all symptoms of sex hormone imbalances are all consequences of hypothyroidism on fertility. Main Symptoms/or Important Clinical Findings: A 33 years old female admitted in AVBRH on date 19/1/2021 with chief complaint of infertility with hypothyroidism since 8 year, pain in abdomen, irregular menses. Obstetric History: Patient had obstetric history of menarche start age of 15 year and flow of bleeding in slow/light. After irregular menses, she received IVF cycle and she was conceived the pregnancy in 1st IVF cycle. The Main Diagnoses, Therapeutic Intervention, and Outcome: After physical examination and investigation, doctor was detected a case of primary infertility with hypothyroidism. Patient was treated with tab.thyronom50 mg drug to reduce the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Nursing perspective: Administered flued replacement i.e. DNS, RL, monitored fetal heart rate and vital sign per 4 hourly. Conclusion: Pregnancy conceived with in vitro fertilization increasing the more risk of gestational hypothyroidism as well as fetal complication. Treatment and management improves the outcome of pregnancy.

Introduction: Pterygium is a common degenerative condition of the conjunctiva specially in the dry and arid climate. There are numerous treatment options for pterygium. Gluefree & Sutureless conjunctival autografting is one of the popular method to reduce its (Pterygium) recurrence.Purpose: To study outcome of inferior temporal conjunctival autografting which is sutureless & gluefree in Pterygium patients. Material and Method:A Prospective study was carried out on 104 out of 123 patients, which met Inclusion criteria. Pterygium surgery procedure include, pterygium excision followed by inferior conjunctival autografting without any glue and suture. The patients were followed up post-operatively on day 1, 1 week, 15 days, 1 month, 2 months. They all were examined for complications such as graft displacement, recurrence, haemorrhage along with routine post-operative examination. Results:The age of Patients varied between 21 to 70 years. 62.50 % of which were Male. Common age group in our study was 41-50 years. Redness & watering was most common symptoms in our study. Recurrence was seen 09 patients & graft displacement was seen in 7 patients. Recurrence was most commonly seen in patients having grade 3 Pterygium. Conclusion:Pterygium excision followed by inferior conjunctival grafting has an advantage of leaving the superior conjunctiva (commonly used in conjunctival autografting procedure) for glaucoma or cataract surgery if need arises . its also economical in context to our Country. The study aims at exploring options to improve the quality of life in cosmetically and visually challenged patients
