Study of modified potassium feldspar as a novel β-nucleating agent to the crystal morphology and properties of polypropylene

Abstract: In this paper, a modified potassium feldspar as high-efficiency polypropylene β-nucleating agent, which has the advantage of abundant resources and low price, was prepared by using bicyclo [2.2.1] hept-5-ene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid, We study the dosage of such nucleating agents affecting on β crystallization ability of isotactic polypropylene (iPP).
