Abstract:Magnesium alloy shows promise of becoming a new generation of degradable biomaterials because of its good biocompatibility and mechanical properties. This paper details the preparation of magnesium alloy by adding calcium and zinc elements to pure magnesium at a specific ratio and strengthened by solid solution treatment and extrusion.
