Abstract:The hygroscopicity of Urea/Diatom compounds was investigated using the dynamic speckle technique, alongside the study of textural properties through nitrogen sorption. The results obtained by using optical methods provided insights into the hygroscopic behavior of the sample, in particular when high urea contents were present, which fall outside the range of applicability for the nitrogen sorption technique. The dynamic speckle technique served as a valuable complement to the conventional technique.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
