Study of Fly Ash Concrete Exposed to Elevated Temperature

Abstract: The ability to improve the tendency of hardened concrete in compression at elevated temperature was studied. Five mixes of fly ash were cast with a replacement amount of 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40% by cement mass. They were exposed to 400°C and held for 2 hours after water curing. The specimens have been cooled down to room temperature and then undergo a compressive test.
