“…(1) Lidar can measure and record wind parameters in the field for a long time, and in view of the effective ratio β, measurements taken can obtain higher quality data when the weather is clear. (2) The wind field data during the measuring period were selected and analyzed, and it is found that the wind field parameter showed nonuniform characteristics in time and height. (3) The nondimensional wind speed profile was divided into three types (mussy, linear, and piecewise exponential pattern), and the regularity of power exponent is not obvious.…”

“…Vertical wind and turbulence profiles The research on mountainous valley wind parameters by scholars mainly applies the methods of wind tunnel terrain model test, numerical simulation, and field measurement. Wind tunnel terrain model test is widely used, but there is room for improvement in accuracy because of characteristic flow simulation and scaling model making [1][2][3]. With the development of computer technology and computational fluid dynamic (CFD), numerical simulation methods have been applied more and more widely, and their reliability has also been verified [4][5][6].…”

“…On the basis of FDS simulation of the flow field in the tunnel affected by external wind, Yi [8] et al carried out small-size experiments and obtained a dimensionless flame length prediction model under the influence of environmental wind. Chen [9] 's research shows that the gas flow characteristics in tunnels induced by ambient wind are mainly affected by the hydraulic diameter of the tunnel, and there is little difference in gas flow characteristics in tunnels with different shapes but the same hydraulic diameter. Yao [10] studied the influence of ambient wind on the pool fire combustion characteristics (MLRPUA) in the open environment and tunnel.…”

“…The results show that the CFD method can draw the same conclusion as the wind tunnel test when using the appropriate calculation model (Cao et al, 2012;Tamura and Kareem, 2013). It is worth noting that the research has shown that the wind parameter profile in the mountainous gorge area does not meet the power-law or logarithmic law distribution, but there is no in-depth analysis of its reasonable profile model (Holtslag, 1984;Barnéoud and Ek, 2020;Chen et al, 2020). Therefore, it is still necessary to use the measured data to study the wind field of this complex terrain, which has important reference value for further understanding and summarizing the wind field characteristics of the deep gorge area.…”
