Study of early post-operative complications in relation to nature of anaesthesia and type of surgery

Abstract: Background: Many people have complications after surgery; some transient, others serious, but all are important to patients. The likelihood of postoperative complications is influenced by the type of surgery, the patients pre-existing comorbid state and perioperative management.
