Study of Cyperus esculentus Acid Hydrolysis for Ethanol Production

Abstract: Ethanol production is growing annually. However, as a negative aspect of this growth occurs a competition between the production of alcohol and food. Among the alternatives for the production of ethanol, the Cyperus esculentus presents approximately 32% of starch.
