Study of Chemical Composition of Garlic Oil and Comparative Analysis of Co Trimoxazole in Response to in Vitro Antibacterial Activity

Abstract: During the last 20 years, traditional system of medicine has become a topic of global importance. Allium sativum also known as garlic, belong to the Genus Allium is one of the representatives of this system of medicine. In this study, the garlic oil was extracted by solvent extraction using n-hexane as solvent. The reported percentage yield of oil was 1.1 %, and the specific gravity was 0.90 g/ml.
