Study of a reluctance magnetic gearbox for energy storage system application

Abstract: This work proposes the use of a magnetic gearbox to be applied on an energy storage system based on flywheel to allow the use of a conventional electric machine external to the vacuum chamber as the primary machine, maintaining the possibility of using a rotating mass with high speeds.
