Study Concerning the Maximal Depth of a Cylindrical Part Made from Tailor Welded Blanks

Abstract: The formability of tailor welded blanks is significantly reduced compared with the homogeneous blanks. This phenomenon is caused by the fact that there is a severe change in the material property sideways the welding line.
