Studies on the Use of Mineral and Bio Nitrogen Fertilizer With Some of Growth Regulators on Growth and Yield of Cotton Vatiety Giza 80

Abstract: Two field experiments were carried out at Sids Agricultural Research station, Beni-suef Governumberrate in 2008 and 2009 seasons, to study the response of growth, fruiting and yield of the Egyptian cotton cultivar Giza 80 (G. barbadense L.) to organic manure (sheep manures) alone or combined with mineral nitrogen fertilizer and foliar application with Kinetin and Gebirline GA 3 . The treatment included the control treatment, one concentration of each of kinetin (5 ppm) and GA 3 (100 ppm) which sprayed at the s… Show more

“…Previous study also suggested that the soil applied farm yard manure and compost significantly increase the plant height (cm), sympodial branches, bolls per plant in transgenic and BT cotton (Jan et al, 2020). Studies also suggested that the FYM and boron significantly increase the boll bearing branches in cotton crop as well as improve the plant height (GEBALY, 2011;Kassem, Hamoda, & Emara, 2009;Qamar et al, 2020;Sawan, Mohamed, Sakr, & Tarrad, 2000). A comparative observation in present study also suggested that the FYM and boron significantly improve the growth characteristic of CKC-3 than that of Sindh-1.…”

“…The most noteworthy UHM length (35.90 and 35.97 mm), UI (88.10% and 88.37 %), fiber strength (46.87 and 46.90), and MIC (4.37 and 4.57) in 2019 and 2020 seasons, individually was registration from establishing of nanochitosan (NPK) with G. 96. Comparative outcomes were likewise revealed by (Corradini et al 2010 andGebaly 2011).…”
