“…According to the electrostatic approach outlined above, [5,7] a suitable electronic structure to engender SMM behavior might be anticipated for an oblate lanthanoid(III) ion with an eutral O 6 -donor1 8-crown-6-ether (18-c-6)l igand coordinated in nominally equatorial positions and axially-positioned anionic li-gands.S uch complexes have been long known,f irst reported by Bünzli in the 1980s, with [Ln(18-c-6)(X) 3 ]s ystems (where X = NO 3 À , [13] Cl À , [14] ClO 4 À , [15] CF 3 COO À , [16] or SCN À[17] )a sw ell as with smaller [16a, 18] or larger [19] crown-ether ligandsa nd their derivatives. [18b, 20] Dynamic magnetic studies were conducted on Ln/crown-ether systemsw here the crown-ether acts as ac apping ligand.…”

“…The TG-DSC of CuL2 in N2 atmosphere, Figure 10, exhibits TG curve at (190-220) ℃ with loss weight =10% which is associated with the cleavage of coordinated water molecules in the inner-sphere of complex. The second step of TG was shown at (300-320) ℃ range with loss weight=8.5% which is ascribed to break down of weak points of complex like -OCH3 and phenyl groups [42]. As well as the TG curve observed at (400-415) ℃ temperature may be assigned to break down of -Cl and rest organic triazole ring with stable phase of CuO with 55% weight value.…”

“…A second similar volume of di methyl sulfate was added and stirring continued for a greater range of (20 minutes). The temperature will increase to (40)(41)(42)(43)(44)(45) ° C during this second addition. The flask is then fitted with a reflux condenser and the contents are cooked for two hours by stirring.…”

“…All the experimental mass losses were in good agreement with the calculated ones as it is shown in Table (4). The second stage is the dissociation and decomposition of the chloride at temperatures depending on bond energies, which results in a temperature range of (100-200) o C. The last mass loss recorded was between the range of (160 -390) o C after that, a region of thermal stability was observed up to more than (800 o C) and was identified as the oxide of the corresponding metal ions which are known to be very stable even at very high temperatures [32][33][34][35].…”
