Abstract: In recent trends, the usage of synthetic materials has been reduced by introducing natural fibres for lightweight applications. In this study, Madar (Calotropis gigantea) fibre is selected for the reinforcement phase (40%), and the epoxy polymer is blended with bran filler selected as a matrix material. To calculate hybrid composite mechanical characteristics, five composite laminates with different fibre/filler weight ratios were made. The results show that when the weight ratio of madar fibre increased, the … Show more

“…The typical load sequence diagram is shown (Fig. 6 ) below; if the specimens accomplish their strength limit, strength deprivation may occur due to large lateral displacement 22 . In the 3 cycles, the load attainment is nearly 16.5 kN, which shows 73.5%, nearly 75% of the peak load of 22.5 kN.…”

“…Porcelain fillers are frequently employed in epoxy composites to augment a range of qualities. Composite materials commonly demonstrate a notable level of compressive strength, typically falling within the range of 20 to 50 MPa 14 . This characteristic plays a significant role in enabling the composite to endure substantial loads and effectively withstand compression-induced deformations.…”
