Studies on the Macronuclei of Doublet Paramecium tetraurelia: Distribution of Macronuclei and DNA at Fission*

Abstract: SYNOPSIS. Doublet Paramecium tetraurelia would be expected to contain 2 macronuclei if their nuclear complement were strictly analogous to that of singlets.
