Studies on Pyrazinoylguanidine

Abstract: Pyrazinoylguanidine (PZG) is a new antihyperglycemic, antihyperlipidemic drug. The current study reports on the development of an animal model in which the favorable metabolic effects of PZG, previously described in diabetic patients, could be reproduced and investigated.
