Studies of concentration dependences of phase transition temperatures of amine-containing (meth)acrylic copolymers in aqueous solutions

Abstract: With the purpose of obtaining new thermosensitive polymers, the phase transition temperatures of aqueous solutions of the N,N dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate homopolymers and its copolymers with N,N butylacrylamide, dodecylacrylate, dodecylmethacrylate, N (3 dimethylaminopropyl)methacryla mide, and acrylic acid have been investigated. It is shown that the lower critical solution temperatures of poly mers depend on the concentration of polymer and on the type of comonomer.
