This systematic review aims to provide a systematic review of the scientific published studies that examined different multimedia tools in the science teaching and learning process to identify the existing multimedia-based tools and understand their usage, application areas, and impacts on the education system. There are 60 articles extracted from the Scopus database from 2012 to 2022. This review generates six averments about the current study; (1) The most numerous multimedia components are text components; (2) the learning process and application of the use of multimedia in science education can be applied at various levels of education; (3) The majority of the study was conducted in the United States; (4) the current use of technology that is most widely used is the use of power points; (5) the role of technology in the learning process as learning tools, teaching tools, assessment, and evaluation; and (6) the most science content conducted in multimedia research is chemistry.

Technological advances such as Learning Management System (LMS) are changing the teaching-learning conditions, organization of school activities and functions of educators. In particular, the use of LMS in the educational field is necessary due to the appearance of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This quantitative research analyzes the teachers' perception about the use of LMS during the COVID-19 pandemic considering data science. The sample is 115 teachers from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. These teachers took the “Classroom of the Future 2020” Diploma in order to create new educational spaces. The results of the machine learning technique indicate that the performance of the school activities in LMS positively influences the learning process, motivation and participation of the students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, the decision tree technique identifies three predictive models about the use of this technological tool in the educational field considering the academic level and sex of the teachers. In conclusion, educators can improve the learning conditions, organize creative activities inside and outside the classroom, achieve the innovation in the educational context and build virtual spaces through LMS.

Computer software plays a significant role across various domains of Agricultural Engineering, whether it's used for structural calculations, lighting, pesticide dosing, or project presentations, among many others. Furthermore, there is a growing array of mobile applications (Apps) integrating technical aspects that offer substantial potential for hands-on teaching in multiple subjects. Determining the most suitable software application and device for teaching different subjects, based on student characteristics, is essential for their evolution and alignment with emerging technologies and trends within the profession. At the Technical School of Agronomic, Food and Biosystems Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), a study was conducted within a third-year course to assess student profiles and identify the most suitable devices for technical subjects within the Food Engineering program. The use of laptops, closely followed by mobile phones, emerges as the most compelling tools at present. Differences are observed in the utilization of video conferencing and file-sharing applications based on whether students interact with each other or with the academics.
