Определена нуклеотидная последовательность экстрахромосомного трансгена мыши. Анализ новообразованных в результате перестроек исходной плазмиды последовательностей ДЯК показал высокую гомологию некоторых из них с консенсусом ori репликации эукариот. Возможно, эти последовательности обеспечивали стабильную репликацию трансгена в клетках мыши. Показано, что данный трансген также способен реплицироваться в >слетках насекомых.
