Using recent and updated world data on polarized structure functions g1 and g2 we perform QCD analysis at the next-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) accuracy. We include also target mass correction and higher twist effect to get more precise results in our fitting procedure. To confirm the validity of our fitting results several sum rules are examined and we do a comparison for them with results from other models. In our analysis we employ Jacobi polynomials approach to obtain analytical solutions of the DGLAP evolution equations for parton distribution functions (PDFs). Using the extracted PDFs from our data analysis as input we also compute the x-and pT -dependence of some transverse momentum dependence (TMD) PDFs in polarized case, based on covariant parton model. These functions are naively even time-reversal (T-even) at twist-2 approximation. The results for TMDs are indicating proper and acceptable behaviour with respect to what are presented in other literatures.

This manuscript presents the new analysis of recent CLAS and CLAS12 data aimed at the extraction of e(x). This publication benefits from a proof-of-principle analysis of a smaller preliminary data set published in a preprint form in 1405.7659, [1].We present the first point-by-point extraction of a twist-3 PDF. The scalar PDF, e(x), is accessed through the analysis of the data for the sin φR-moment of the beam-spin asymmetry for dihadron production in semi-inclusive DIS off proton target at CLAS and CLAS12. The dihadron formalism allows for use of collinear framework, hence calling for a minimal set of approximations and hypotheses. The extracted PDF e(x) carries insights into the physics of the largely-unexplored quark-gluon correlations, and its first Mellin moment is related to the marginally-known scalar charge of the nucleon. We show that the proton flavor combination of the scalar PDF is non-zero at more than 74% probability.

Central to understanding the nonpertubative, intrinsic partonic nature of hadron structure are the concepts of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution and fragmentation functions. A TMD factorization approach to the phenomenology of semi-inclusive processes that includes evolution, higher orders, and matching to larger transverse momentum, is ultimately necessary for reliably connecting with phenomenologically extracted nonperturbative structures, especially when widely different scales are involved. In this paper, we will address some of the difficulties that arise when phenomenological techniques that were originally designed for very high energy applications are extended to studies of hadron structures, and we will solidify the connection between standard high energy TMD implementations and the more intuitive, parton model based approaches to phenomenology that emphasize nonperturbative hadron structure. In the process, we will elaborate on differences between forward and backward TMD evolution, which in the context of this paper we call "bottom-up" and "top-down" approaches, and we will explain the advantages of a bottom-up strategy. We will also emphasize and clarify the role of the integral relations that connect TMD and collinear correlation functions. We will show explicitly how they constrain the nonperturbative "g-functions" of standard Collins-Soper-Sterman (CSS) implementations of TMD factorization. This paper is especially targeted toward phenomenologists and model builders who are interested in merging specific nonperturbative models and calculations (including lattice QCD) with TMD factorization at large Q. Our main result is a recipe for incorporating nonperturbative models into TMD factorization, and for constraining their parameters in a way that matches to perturbative QCD and evolution.
