“…Für Fälle mit einer Krankenhausverweildauer von > 7 Tagen konnte zwischen 2006 und 2008 ebenfalls ein signifikanter Trendwechsel im Sinne einer Stagnation der zuvor fallenden Fallzahlen nachgewiesen werden. Diese Ergebnisse sind mit einer Veröffentlichung des „Benchmarking & Quality Management“-Komitees der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Neurologie vereinbar, die nach Einführung der DRG-basierten Abrechnung eine Abnahme der Krankenhausverweildauer zwischen 2015 und 2017 um 17 % auf im Mittel 5,4 Tage im Hinblick auf alle neurologischen Fälle aufgezeigt hat [ 19 ].
