Structure and Photoluminescence Properties of a New Nanostructure Tin(IV) Complex: A Precursor for Preparation of Pure Phase Nanosized SnO2

Abstract: A new tin complex, [l-(4-bpdb){Me 2 Sn(cupf) 2 } 2 ] (1), was prepared by reacting dimethyltin(IV) dichloride, with 1,4-bis(4-pyridyl)-2,3-diaza-1,3-butadiene (4-bpdb) and cupferron in a fast and facile process.
