Structure and Magnetic Properties of a Three-dimensional Cobalt Metal-Organic Framework

Abstract: A new 3D fourfold interpenetrated metal-organic framework , [Co(L) 2 (SO 4)]·H 2 O (1), has been synthesized by the solvothermal reaction of L with CoSO 4 ·6H 2 O (L = 1,4-bis(imidazolyl)benzene). Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /n, with the cell parameters: a = 9.943(2), b = 21.7104(15), c = 13.2658(18) ˚ A, β = 97.638(3) • , V = 2838.2(8) ˚ A 3 , R 1 = 0.0566 and wR 2 = 0.1035. It represents a novel dia net, in which the cobalt atoms are alternately bridged by the imidazolyl N atom… Show more

“…Furthermore, the ClO 4 − anions are dispersed in the interpenetrating network to balance the positive charges. 22 Similar examples were observed in the CoIJII)-bib system, namely [CoIJbib) 2 (SO 4 )]•H 2 O (3), 23 [Co(bib) 2 SO 4 ] (4), 24 [Co 3 (bib) 3 (H 2 O) 9 ](SO 4 ) 3 •(H 2 O) 5 (5), 24 [Co(N 3 )(bib) 2 ](NO 3 ) (6) 25 and [Co(N 3 ) 2 (bib)](H 2 O) (7). 26 In these compounds, the Scheme 2 Schematic of the construction of zeolite-like MOFs with curved bidentate imidazolate ligands and tetrahedral metal ions.…”

“…They are crucial in constructing the periodic solutions, while 050504-2 in the process of constructing the soliton solutions, they are often put to zero. It can be seen that equations (11) and ( 13) are equivalent to equations ( 5) and (7), respectively. Now we have obtained the bilinear form of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation by introducing new variable t and auxiliary equation (7).…”

“…Analytical soliton solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations attract many researchers' attention due to their interesting properties. [1][2][3] Many different methods have been developed and used to obtain exact soliton solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations, such as the Lie symmetry method, [4] Bäcklund transformation method, [5] Hirota bilinear method, [6][7][8] inverse scattering transformation, [9] ellipitic function method, [10,11] and other constructing methods. [12][13][14][15][16][17] In 1970s, Novikov et al [18][19][20][21][22] developed a method to construct analytical quasiperiodic solutions of the nonlinear evolution equation.…”

“…Furthermore, since solution of a given problem helps in understating the physics and mathematics behind; different methods have been proposed to solve varieties of evolution equations. These methods include the Kudryashov method, [10−13] extended tanh based method, [14−18] rational expansion method, [19] Sine-Gordon and ansatz methods, [20−23] Jacobi elliptic function method [24] symmetry analysis method [25] and Adomian decomposition method [26−27] and other methods (see, Refs.
