Structure and adsorption properties of a porous cooper hexacyanoferrate polymorph

Abstract: The key questions addressed here were: the structure elucidation and the investigation of the adsorption space and framework expansion effect of a Cu(II) hexacyanoferrate (III) polymorph (labelled Cu-PBA-I). The structural analysis was performed with a broad set of characterization methods. Additionally, a low and high pressure carbon dioxide adsorption investigation was performed, assuming, to comprehend the adsorption experiments, that the adsorbent plus the adsorbed phase were a solid solution. We concluded… Show more

“…Th at 1110 and 801 cm −1 were assigned to the Si-O stretching vibration in SiO2, and corresponds to the inplane bending vibration of O-Si-O [38]. The peak at 554 c assigned to the C-Fe stretching vibration [39]. The peaks at 2126 and 2078 cm −1 cor to the C≡N stretching vibration [38,40], indicating the presence of hexacyanoferr peak of CN − weakened with the increase in irradiation dose, which indicates that t destroyed a minor portion of CN − [41,42].…”

“…Prussian blue analogues (PBAs) [26,27] and nitroprussides (NPs) [28] are produced by mixing solutions of K 3 [Fe(CN) 6 ], for the synthesis of Prussian blue analogues, and Na 2 [Fe(CN) 5 NO] for the synthesis of nitroprussides with a nitrate of the corresponding metal to get the corresponding PBAs and NPs.…”

“…The analytical test was carried out with an equipment similar to a TA, Q-500 instrument; the samples were placed onto a ceramic sample holder suspended from an analytical balance, suspended from an analytical balance; then the temperature was linearly scanned, from 25 to 300 C, at a heating rate of 5 C/min under a pure N 2 flow of 100 mL/min. TGA testing process was carried out with a TA, Q-500 instrument, and the samples were placed onto a ceramic sample holder [27]. DRIFTS were gathered using equipment similar to a Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS10 FTIR spectrometer.…”
