Structural Systems of Fankou Lead-Zinc Orefield in Renhua County, Guangdong Province, China

Abstract: Orefield structures of Fankou lead-zinc deposit in Guangdong province is complex and have been argued about for years. On the basis of the theory and method of the geomechanics, the mechanics features of structural planes of the structures of Fankou lead-zinc orefield have been identified. Its indicated that its structure is divided into three types of systems, that is, the northwest trending structural belt which origin from the Caledonian stage to the Hercynian stage, the Lambda-type structure which origin f… Show more

“…Xinquan Liang (2009) believed that the ore-controlling structure is a strike-slip structural belt. Yinshu Li (2013) believed that the structure in Fankou Pb-Zn deposit is a Lambda-type structure. By field research and laboratory study of the authors of this article, the Lambda-type structure is ore-controlling structure of Fankou lead-zinc orefield.…”
