Disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) as a course in basic education aims to raise the student’s awareness of what to do before, during, and after a disaster using contextualized modules. The contextualization and validation of these modules considered legal bases and statutory standards in terms of learning competency, content, language, assessment, format, and technical specifications. The student’s performance and end users’ feedback and suggestions were used as bases for evaluating the developed modules. The descriptive method thru the instrumentation technique of research followed the process of module development from the planning phase to the evaluation following the analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation (ADDIE) model while the module sections used the Kolb’s model. The respondents were senior high school students in the Science curricular program of Echague National High School and Isabela State University, Isabela, Philippines. The findings showed a good agreement among experts’ ratings and ascertained compliance with the learning resources guidelines of the Department of Education, Philippines. The student’s performance on their post-test was significantly higher than their pre-test scores. The student’s interests and learning engagement were very high as shown in their performance in activities and assessments. The contextualized DRRM modules are recommended for classroom use for on-site and distance learning modalities.

This research conducts an exhaustive thematic analysis to explore the prospects as well as to create a conceptual framework for transformative experiences in cycling tourism. Using rigorous familiarisation, block and file techniques, recurring themes and patterns are identified, revealing insights into shared characteristics and potential synergies between transformative tourism (TT) and cycling tourism (CT), contributing to a deeper understanding of the transformative power of cycling experiences within the broader context of tourism that should further aid in the integration of such transformative experiences in CT. The results show that both TT and CT represent distinctive yet interconnected typologies within the realm of tourism. Several similarities are presented from an almost-mirrored tourist profile, inclination towards sustainable and regenerative tourism, assimilation of slow-tourism, immersive and eudaimonic experiences, well-being, reflection, and personal development opportunities. Based on these insights, this research introduces an innovative integration of both concepts, offering a distinct and enriching tourism experience by enhancing the transformative power of cycling experiences. The article provides practical implications for industry practitioners involved in tourism design and management and opens avenues for future investigations vital to the commencement of this typology, such as the development of theoretical frameworks, innovative perspectives, and evidence-based recommendations for tourism stakeholders.

The purpose of this paper is to reconstruct the career planning of martial arts coaches. Based on the comprehensive quality of life theory, this paper attempts to reconstruct the career planning of coaches by studying the impact of martial arts on practitioners' physical quality, psychology quality, emotional quality and social quality. The thesis reviews the literature through qualitative research methods, and through the study of relevant literature, on the basis of synthesis and analysis, it is found that martial arts have both positive and negative effects on practitioners. The positive impact is mainly manifested in the benefit aspects of martial arts to practitioners, and the negative impact is mainly manifested in the harm of martial arts. Research result: The paper suggests that in the process of career reconstruction of martial arts practitioners, the positive effects of martial arts on practitioners should be actively brought into play, that is, the impact of martial arts on practitioners should be further optimized. Favorable factors, reduce and avoid the unfavorable factors of martial arts for practitioners, and effectively optimize career plans by improving practitioners' physical, psychological, emotional, and social qualities.
