Structural Relationship of Factors Affecting the Performance of Oil & Gas Company: Case Study of Adnoc

Abstract: This paper presents the development and analysis of Structural Equation Model (SEM) on factors affecting the performance oil & gas company. The model was constructed based on the model framework where it involved 5 groups of independent factors affecting the performance of oil & gas company and one group of dependent of the performance. Data collected from the 100 respondents of questionnaire survey among employees of the company were used in the model development. Assessments at measurement level of t… Show more

“…Data analytics plays a pivotal role in predictive safety measures within the industry. It enables the evaluation of risk factors, such as cyber-security threats (Stergiopoulos et al, 2020), and the assessment of the performance of oil and gas companies (Mansoori et al, 2020). Furthermore, the application of nanotechnologies has enhanced safety measures in waste management and fossil fuel exploration (Yang et al, 2015).…”

“…Simultaneously, the AVE (community) considers the quality of the index's measurement models. If the numbers are 0.1, 0.25, or 0.36, the GoF index is termed small, medium, or big, respectively [99]. The equation can be used to compute the GoF index:…”

“…Simultaneously, the AVE (communality) addresses the quality of the measurement models in the index. GoF index is considered small, medium, and large if the values are 0.1, 0.25, and 0.36, respectively [89].The GoF index can be calculated as follow: = × = √0.764 × 0.4319 = 0.574. The criteria of GoF for deciding whether GoF values are; not acceptable (less than 0.1), small (between 0.1 to 0.25), moderate (between 0.25 to 0.36), or high (above 0.36) to be regarded as a globally appropriate PLS model.…”
