Abstract. Two methods for an automatic analysis of the temporal evolution of a multiphase polycrystalline sample are described:• The Upeak method, analyzing the spectra formally, i.e., carrying the peak search in them, and so describing the evolution in terms of spectral peaks, or having made additionally the autoindexing of the found peaks, preparing the crystallographic information for the Rietveld analysis.• The Rietveld method, using an already available crystallographic information about the phase reflections, and describing the unit cell and atomic characteristics of each phase, and the mutual phase contributions to the total intensity for each item of the analyzed sequence of neutron scattering spectra.The paper describes difficulties of an automatic analysis securing the convergence of a non-linear and at the same time non-stationary fitting. The evolution of the polycrystalline compound CuFe 2 O 4 with the temperature T in the range from 300 to 500 degrees Celsius illustrates the performance of the methods.

BALA-GUROV et al [30] mostrou que a transição estrutural da fase cúbica para a fase tetragonal na amostra isenta de chumbo (x = 0,00) ocorre em temperatura aproximada de 440,00 °C e (ii) a temperatura de 493,00 ºC há indícios da transição de Curie. RESUMOEste artigo apresenta a obtenção de uma ferrita de chumbo e cobre com a estrutura do espinélio, a caracterização da sua microestrutura e a determinação das suas propriedades magnéticas. A ferrita de cobre e chumbo é um material com baixa coercividade magnética e alta resistividade elétrica. Amostras com estequiometria Pb x Cu 1-x Fe 2 O 4 , (x = 0,00; 0,05; 0,10;0,15 e 0,20) foram sintetizadas pelo processo de metalurgia do pó e sinterizadas a 1000 °C por 6 h. Os resultados mostram que a amostra com x = 0,00 é formada pela estrutura do espinélio cúbico e x variando de 0,05 a 0,20 são formadas exclusivamente pela estrutura do espinélio tetragonal. As curvas de histerese mostram características de materiais magnéticos moles e a magnetização de saturação e temperatura de Curie diminuíram com a concentração de chumbo, no entanto observou-se o aumento do campo coercivo.Palavras-chave: Ferrita de chumbo, Microestrutura, Fase Líquida, Propriedades magnéticas, Efeito JahnTeller. ABSTRACTThis paper presents to obtain a lead and copper ferrite with spinel structure, characterizing the microstructure and the determination of their magnetic properties. The copper and lead ferrite is a material with low magnetic coercivity, high electrical resistivity. Samples with stoichiometry Pb x Cu 1-x Fe 2 O 4 with (x = 0.00; 0.05; 0.10; 0.15 e 0.20) were prepared by powder metallurgy processes and sintered at 1000 °C for 6 hours. The results show that sample with x = 0.00 is formed exclusively by the cubic spinel structure and samples with x between 0.05 to 0.20 are formed exclusively by the tetragonal spinel structure hysteresis loops show the characteristics of a soft magnetic material and the saturation magnetization and Curie temperature decreased with the lead concentration, however, noted that the increase in the coercive field.
