“…Spinel ferrites with general formula MFe 2 O 4 form a significant group of magnetic materials where M = divalent metal ion such as Ni, Cu, Zn, Mg and Co. 2 Easy manufacturing, low cost, good magnetic and dielectric properties, low eddy current losses, high electrical resistivity and low dielectric losses make them useful for designing aforementioned devices. 3 Copper ferrites have been deliberated as a good dielectric material amongst all ferrites and have utility for microwave devices such as circulators, insulators etc. 4 Inverse spinel NiFe 2 O 4 shows ferromagnetic behaviour which comes from the magnetic moment of anti-parallel spins b/w Fe 3+ (tetrahedral sites) and Ni 2+ (octahedral sites).…”
