Structural modification of TA2/Q355B composite interface and study of TiC stability mechanism

Abstract: Constructing different titanium/steel composite interface structures and stabilising the TiC layer at 950°C through structural modification, the coexistence of multiple brittle phases at the composite interface was reduced and discussed the formation mechanism. Through structure modulation, the organisation of the bonding interface near the Ti side transformed into α-Ti, and the bond strength significantly increased to 290 MPa.
