“…Meanwhile, ε′, ε′ and tan δ values decreased exponentially with the increase of frequency, while σ ac increased along with the increase of frequency. Consequently, the Sm doped ZnO samples are potential candidates to be used in high frequency devices and dielectric applications [71,72]. The values of ε′ and σ ac decreased as the Sm doping content increased at all temperatures, where they attained the highest values at 773 K.…”

“…A decrease in peak intensity and peak broadening observed due to ball milling which indicates the reduction in size of the sample. This expansion of peak con rmed the decrease in size and the improvement of strain in the prepared samples. It is clear from the XRD pattern of 10h milled sample that there is no secondary peak related to CuO or Cu related secondary and impurity phase which con rms the purity as well as formation of single phase of the sample [26][27][28] The peak shifting for different duration of milling was observed from (Figure 3) shows the shifting towards the lower 2θ angle. This may be due to various kinds of strain arises in the synthesized samples due to milling and also due to introduction of Cu into ZnO lattice.…”

“…Many authors have been reported a reduction in the band gap energy with increase the Co‐doped concentration in ZnO prepared by different methods as a nanopowder or thin film . Moreover, Das et.al found also a reduction in energy gap of ZnO upon Cu introduced into ZnO matrix. Furthermore, the energy gap of Zn 1‐x Cu x O (x = 0%‐6% wt) nano particles produced by co‐precipitation method first decreased, then increased by increase the amount of Cu doped .…”
