“…Basin inversion took place during the Late Cretaceous‐Eocene time (Lüning et al, 2004; Shalaby & Sarhan, 2021) because of a substantial compressional force occurred during the late Cretaceous‐Tertiary time (Bevan & Moustafa, 2012; Guiraud, 1998; Guiraud et al, 2005; Guiraud & Bosworth, 1997; Moustafa, 1988; Shukri, 1954) and continued until the Oligo‐Miocene time (Bevan & Moustafa, 2012).
